DIGITAL & MIXED MEDIA

I started using computers in 1987. The immediate attraction was being able to save and print out various stages in the development of an idea. As well as this, the qualities of pixellation and the limitations of basic drawing software helped me to think differently about my working process and the the visual elements I was using, and took my work into new directions.

In 1988 I took part in one of the first UK survey exhibitions on the use of computers in art: "Art & Computers".

The following examples give a flavour of my exploration and experimentation, which I will add to over time.
